Classroom Rules and Expectations

  

DWI Education

· Be on time and attend all three days of class consecutively.

· You must pass the test with a 72 (or better) to earn your certificate.

· If you miss class or arrive late, you will be required to re-register and pay for a new class.

· Alcohol and/or drug use prior to or during class will result in removal from class.

· You must be visible on camera at all times.  Please do not use a digital background.  Your audio must also be working.

· Use of cell phone during class is prohibited. No texting, emailing or calls during class.

· Breaks are given every hour.  Please limit restroom needs to these breaks.

· Plan to be in a quiet place with minimal distractions.

· All participants are to be dressed appropriately on Zoom.

· Feel free to eat, drink, or smoke cigarettes - You are in your house, I am in mine!

· Pay attention and take lots of notes!

· If I disappear on Zoom, this does not mean class is over, wait for me on Zoom!

Positive attitude and participation are the expectation!

  DWI Intervention - Repeat Offenders Class

As a participant in this program, you must follow these classroom rules and expectations:

· Confidentiality is the expectation. This class is very participation oriented.

· You must be on time any tardy is an absence.

· You are allowed two absences during our 15 class sessions. However, any absence will need to be made up. The make-up class will cost $50. 

· Absences are not allowed the first day or the last two weeks of the program.

· There will be a break in the middle of our 2-hour class. Please limit restroom breaks to these times.

· Alcohol/Drug use prior to or during class will result in you being removed from this program with no refund. 

· Two Alcoholics Anonymous meetings are required.

· Prepare ahead of time! Drinks, snacks, and cigarette smoking is allowed, but plan ahead to have them available to you at your desk. 

· Please plan to be in a quiet place where distractions are minimized.   

· Respect is Key! Be respectful of other’s opinions and try not to over-talk others. 

· Your attention and participation is the expectation.

· Use of cell phones during class is prohibited, no texting, emailing or calls during class.

· All participants must be dressed appropriately on Zoom.

· All participants must be visible to the instructor on Zoom at all times. Please do not use digital backgrounds during class. 

· If your instructor disappears, please do not assume class is over! Stay on Zoom until I return.

& Drug Offender Education Program are State Certified by Texas Department of License and Regulation (TDLR) program #762.  These courses are generally court ordered or required by a Department of Public Safety, DMV, a Judge, Probation, Parole, Employer or Attorney to comply with legal or get driver's license reinstated.

New Senate Bill passed allowing you to take DWI Education, DWI Intervention and Drug Offender Education Program through a Virtual Classroom (ZOOM) which are instructor led from 

the comforts or your home. 

This is not a self-pace online course and is not defined as an online course.

We are licensed in Texas and are utilized by DWI education clients in the entire United States. You as a Comsumer are free to utilize any TDLR certified license program for Court Ordered Education. Some counties will supply you with a list of recommendations, these lists were vital when you had to attend a class in person, however in most cases are now merely a reference.

There are no refunds for any reason. Should you miss a day of DWI Education or Drug Offender Education, or arrive late to class, or are not visible during the class, you will be dropped and required to reschedule. register & repay for a new class. 

 For Out of State DUI's, it is your responsibility to obtain instructions from your state.

  DWI Payments Plans are available for 

DWI Intervention course. 

A non-refundable deposit of 50. is required to reserve your spot in the class. It will be applied to the cost of the class. This is a courtesy we extend to our clients, for successful completion of the course,

 full payment is due,

One week prior to the end of class.

We utilize the adult SASSI, DAST or MAST as a screening instrument to determine the probability of a substance use disorder.

 It is conducted by a LCDC (License Chemical Dependency Counselor) and should be acceptable in all States, however it is your responsibility to ensure the acceptability of the evaluation for your county or state.
